Transport container device for vehicles

The storage unit for use in a car is mounted on a seat back or on the boot. It comprises a frame (15), into which a container, e.g. a ski sack (36), can be fitted. This has a hinged lid (28) fitted with cup holders (33a, 33b), games console or DVD player.
