Holding device for beverage containers in automotive vehicles

This drink container holder is mounted in the rear of the centre console of a motor car and consists of a drawer unit sliding on guide rods fixed to the back wall of the T'-shaped housing (2). The container holders (8,9) are mounted on spring loaded swinging arms (17,20) which pivot on hinges (15,16) on the rear of the drawer unit (7) allowing the contaier holders (8,9) to swing outwards to suit the size of the container (21) to be held. The containers (21) stand on the swinging arms (17,20) and fixed arms (18,19) and are held between the drawer unit (7), the container holders (8,9) and the drawer front (3).
