The air conditioning unit for climate control of especially the interior of a motor vehicle has a cooler (14) installed in an air duct, and a heater (20) installed in a branch from the air duct. The air duct branches into at least two zone ducts (46,48), and an additional adjusting component (32) for the individual temperature control of the two zones is provided inside the branch duct upstream and downstream of the heater. A first adjusting component (26) installed in the air duct has at least one pivotable flap.
