Casing arrangement for the turbocharger of an internal combustion engine
DRIVE
May 18, 2005
The housing arrangement for the turbocharger of an internal combustion engine has a rotor casing (4) with an inlet duct (1), an exhaust gas overflow section (9) connected to the rotor casing and connected to an exhaust flange (11), and an outer casing (12) enclosing the overflow section, rotor casing and inlet duct. The overflow section is connected to the rotor casing to move relative to it. The rotor casing has an axially orientated pipe-form outlet connector (8) over which fits the cylindrical end (13) of the overflow section with relative movement capability.
