Method for connecting a current collector to a battery terminal

The method involves electrically connecting a plane part (22) of a connection (21) to an electrode (2). A cover (4) is placed on a container to close the container such that a tongue (23) of the connection is in physical contact with a current output that is electrically insulated from the container. An electric current is applied between the container and the output to weld the tongue of the connection on the output. An independent claim is also included for an electrochemical generator.
