Mounting arrangement for an airbag in an airbag module

The arrangement for the fastening of an airbag in the driver's side airbag, in which the airbag is fastened by a clamp connection, has at least one form-locking connecting section provided in the region of the clamp connection. The form-locking clamp connection is provided between a gas generator support (1) and diffusor (2) of the airbag. At least one recess is provided in the gas generator support for a protrusion on the airbag and is constructed so that at least during the loading in the extension direction of the airbag during its unfolding it lies against one wall of the recess.
