The parameter setting device (1) has a display (2) providing at least an outline (3) of a person, with designation of different body areas (4-9), selected by the user for indicating the part of the body for which a temperature adjustment is required, with qualitative evaluation of the user input, entered via a setting device (11,12), for corresponding adjustment of the temperature and/or the discharge direction of the climate-controlled air. An independent claim for a parameter setting method for an automobile climate-control is also included.
