Input device

Input device for controlling an electrical unit comprises a first operating unit for moving a cursor over a display surface (40) and a second operating unit that controls parameters that are allocated to partial areas of the display surface (42-45). The second operating unit changes the parameter corresponding to the particular display over which the cursor is placed with the first operating unit. The invention also relates to use of the inventive input device for control of a driver information and or navigation system.
