Method and device for controlling the speed of a vehicle, during manoeuvring and/or parking

Device for regulating the speed of a vehicle (10) during parking comprises: a detection arrangement (11, 12) for measuring the distances to objects in the vehicle surroundings; a control arrangement (14) for regulating the speed of the vehicle and; a control device for automatic control of the braking system (15) and engine (16) dependent on the output of the speed control arrangement. An independent claim is made for a method for regulating the speed of a vehicle during parking.
