Method for preadjusting the throttling of the suction air in an internal combustion engine

Method for regenerating a particle filter in an exhaust gas system of a combustion engine, which has a control loop for regulating the throttling of the fresh air supply to it, by increasing the exhaust gas temperature by throttling the fresh air supply. According to the method, an input signal (ufb) to the control loop is combined with a preset input signal (uff) to form a throttling signal (u), whereby calibration to determine the preset input signal is achieved using the current input signal. The invention also relates to a corresponding combustion engine.
