Safety device for a vehicle

The device (10) has a horizontal frame (11) linked to a vertical retaining frame (12) retaining goods. The frame (11) has deformable curved zones (13a-13c) on its longitudinal sides. The movement of goods caused by deceleration of a vehicle (100) due to brake or frontal impact of the vehicle, moves the frame (12) to deform the zones for damping impact of goods on the frame (12) and absorbing kinetic energy from goods. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle having a safety device.
