Fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine

Injection system for petrol or gas engines has an electronic control unit that regulates valve opening times and durations. The system can be used with fuel or gas injection via fuel or gas injection valves respectively. During gas operation a control circuit integrated in the control unit or an additional microcontroller is used to regulate the opening times of the gas injection valves based on signals relating to the fuel injector valves.
