Lining for bonnets in motor-vehicles

The energy- and sound-absorbing lining comprises a closed-cell polyolefin foam and an open-cell elastic melamine resin foam. The lining is applied on the underside of a vehicle engine hood. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle engine hood with the above lining on its lower side.
