Belt drive for auxiliary drives of an internal combustion engine
DRIVE
January 12, 2005
The combustion engine auxiliary unit belt drive (1) has a protective device associated with a friction wheel (8) arranged before the contact region with the belt (5) on the respective drive wheel (6) so as to cover the friction wheel running surface over at least one peripheral section. The protective device protects the friction wheel running surface from particles and liquid particles thrown off by the outside (7) of the belt.
