Rollover bar for cabriolet

The extending roll over bar has a support guide (F) and deployment drive (A). A stop mechanism (D) determines the maximum extension. It has fixed stops (4, 7) and counter-stops (3) on the roll-over bar (B). A second stop mechanism (E) operating within the maximum extension stroke is provided, optionally defining a reduced extension height. It comprises a fixed interception- and counter stops (6, 7), the latter on the bar. Interception- and counter stops are adjustable between a passive position of readiness, and an engagement position.
