Vehicle roof

The sliding assembly includes two tracks (12, 13) with two sliders (8, 9) engaging them. Their shape and design is such that on moving the carriage (11), initially the first slider (8) assumes support of the roof (3) in the upward direction (Z), whilst the second slider (9) essentially provides support in the longitudinal direction (X) of the vehicle. On continued sliding of the carriage (11), a reversal of these supportive effects takes place.
