Backrest support structure with pressure map adjustment

The present invention comprises a support structure 1 for mounting within a backrest frame 34 of a vehicle seat, wherein the support structure 1 is a one-piece element, which supports the padding of the backrest. The padding gets a maximum supporting surface whereby the pressure distribution onto the back of the passenger can evenly be distributed. Further, the support structure 1 comprises only of one single part, so that it must not be assembled from a plurality of parts.
