Seat occupant sensor

Seat occupation sensor has two or more pressure activated switching elements (12, 14) that are arranged at a given distance to each other within the surface of the seat. The switching elements are connected in a circuit with each other such that a logical AND gate is realized, e.g. by simple serial connection.
