Passenger seat for public transportation vehicle, and said vehicle

The seat (1) has an embarked electronic case receiving data from a contactless reader (5) such as optical reader e.g. bar code and/or two dimensional label reader, or magnetic reader e.g. radio frequency identification circuit reader, and from a presence sensor i.e. pressure sensor, arranged on a base. The electronic case controls auxiliary devices that are chosen from a touch screen, a virtual keyboard, a headset and a universal serial bussocket. Connection units connect the seat to an onboard computing network. The contactless reader is integrated in a backrest (3). An independent claim is also included for a common transport vehicle comprising an edge server.
