A cable-operated brake system

The brake pull device has a single actuation cable (6) for operating the brakes (5a,b) associated with the traveling wheel units (3a,b) of an axle unit (2). The brakes associated with the wheel units can be operated simultaneously and the brakes apply the same braking force to the relevant traveling wheels. A brake force distributor (7) is provided, especially at the end of the actuation pull cable away from the actuation end.
