DRIVE
December 1, 2004
The engine has steering (96) and tilting (97) shafts disposed in lateral and vertical directions, respectively. A chain is wound around sprockets mounted on the shafts, and is circulated in a horizontal plane. An oil guide unit disposed along a portion of a circulation locus of the chain, has a horizontal wall opposite to a lower surface of the chain and a vertical wall opposite to an outer peripheral surface of the chain. The tilting shaft is driven by the steering shaft.
