The wheel guide device includes a stub axle which has a wheel bearing socket and connections (35,36) for bearing the ball joint pivots (41,43). These connections (35,36) are set in different horizontal planes and are spaced out at different intervals from the wheel rotational axis (4). The ball joints (40, 42) are each mounted between the wheel axis and the connection or the connections are each mounted between the rotational axis and the ball joint. A connecting stay is provided between the track rod and the connecting point closest to the track rod.
