Spring suspended, steerable wheel axle
DRIVE
September 12, 2001
Sprung steerable wheel axle comprises an axle body rigidly connected on its reverse side to a pole-like connecting rod (1) which is guided in a spherical joint so that the axle body has a horizontal and vertical pivoting movement to the chassis. The spherical joint (5) is a molecular joint whose bearing housing (10) is screwed via a flange (8) onto a mounting surface (9) of a bracket (6) molded on the connecting rod. Preferred Features: The mounting surface runs perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (3) of the connecting rod and points toward the free end (17) of the connecting rod.
