Method for operating an internal combustion engine during disturbance of crankshaft position detection
DRIVE
November 10, 2004
The method involves controlling a fuel injection arrangement actuator based on at least one injection information item, detecting an error in detecting the crankshaft angular position and initiating auxiliary measures if an error occurs including clearing at least part of the injection information. The auxiliary measures include clearing all injection information relating to an injection start and generating and implementing an injection end command for the actuator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a computer program for implementing the inventive method (b) an electrical storage medium for a control and/or regulating device for an internal combustion engine (c) a control and/or regulating device for an internal combustion engine (d) and an internal combustion engine, especially for a motor vehicle, with a control and/or regulating device.
