Motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine operated on diesel fuel
DRIVE
November 10, 2004
A fuel filter (5), for a diesel internal combustion motor, has a filter which divides the filter housing into filtered and unfiltered zones. At the head (7) of the filter housing, the filtered zone has an outflow connection (16), and an inflow connection leads into the unfiltered zone. A non-return bypass valve (27) is in the fuel outflow channel (21), opened by pressure, is between the unfiltered zone and the outflow connection. A drilling (35) to contain a heater is next to the outflow channel.
