Device for transporting a construction machine, especially an excavator

The system for transporting excavators (12) comprises sets of wheels (20, 22) which are locked on to either end of it, forming a unit which can be towed by a lorry. The excavator can be replaced by a platform to produce a flat- or low bed trailer.
