October 13, 2004
The method involves controlling the engine revolution rate and output torque by controlling a first final control element and involves a special operating state in which the revolution rate and/or the output torque are controlled by means of a second final control element or by the second final control element and the first final control element. The controller is a jolt damper. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) an arrangement for controlling an internal combustion engine.
