Belt drive

The traction component drive (1) comprises a traction element such as a toothed belt (7) connecting pulleys (4,6) of driven (2) and driving (3) components, and an overrunning device (8a) located between radially spaced apart machine parts of the driving component. The overrunning device has a unit such as a high pressure pump with variable driving torque, whereby the traction component drive is connected to a drive (5) designed as a control drive of the internal combustion engine.
