Ignition lock system for an automobile
DRIVE
September 29, 2004
A manually operated rocker switch switches on devices in the motor vehicle, or starts the vehicle, when a code exchanged between an electronic key and a transceiver is positively identified. The rocker switch has a receptacle for the electronic key (5), so that the electronic key can be inserted into the ignition starter switch. An independent claim is included for an ignition lock.
