The structural beam (12) in the headlamp housing (9) is a part-open-section member (8) with flattened ends (14,15). The ends are connected respectively to a front crossbeam (6) and a side beam (4). The headlamp housing is integrated into the vehicle bodywork (1) and has a floor plate (10) supporting the lamps (11). The front beam is linked to a vertical support (7) with a bumper support box (3).
