Airbag module

The airbag module (10) is equipped with a container (14) accommodating the airbag (20) and the gas generator (22). The circular front cover (24, 26, 28) is provided with a circular extension (30) at the lower surface with an outer diameter matching the inner diameter of the container (14, 18). After the extension (30) has been inserted from the top, hook-shaped elements (32) located at its lower rim engage with openings (34) in the bottom (16) of the container (14) and are secured with elastic elements (36).
