Fuel injection valve (1) for direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine comprises an excitable actuator (2), a valve needle (26) actuating a valve-closing body (27) forming a sealing seat together with a valve seat surface (28), and a hydraulic coupler (6) having a hydraulic volume (10) and a compensation chamber (19). The volume of the compensation chamber is changed by a membrane (20). Preferred Features: The membrane is moved by silicone oil between a first position corresponding to a maximum compensation chamber and a second position corresponding to a minimum compensation chamber.
