A transverse support (20) stretches from one roof railing support to another (16b). Fixing devices (24a) fit on the transverse support's two facing end areas (22a). Each fixing device has fixing elements (34,44) that move in relation to each other by means of a tension device (62) and can be tightened on each roof railing support.
