Device and method to improve vision in vehicles

Device for improving visibility from a motor vehicle comprises an imaging device with an image processing unit and an image display unit, whereby the image processing unit has means for generating a display output color for each input color, dependent on ambient, conditions, e.g. night-time or rain. An independent claim is made for a method for improving visibility from a motor vehicle.
