The transverse row (R3) of individual seats (45g,45c,45d) in the automobile compartment are located between the wheel arches (18,20). The individual seat (45g,45d) which is located laterally on the outside of the transverse row comprises a seat part (24) fixed on a support structure (28) comprising two lateral vertical feet (46i,46e) the lower ends (38) of which are transversely separated and connected to the floor (40). The outer lateral side (44e) of the seat part overhangs relative to the upper end (36) of the outer foot (46e).
