The resonator has a fixed shell at a base (3) for carrying principal electrodes (5) extending from an edge of the shell. A protective electrode (6) is placed adjacent to the principal electrodes and is divided into two principal parts (6.1, 6.2) in the form of a circular disc and a ring, respectively. Each part has an auxiliary electrode (7.1, 7.2) extending between the principal electrodes in a regular manner.
