Braking system for a vehicle and method of operation thereof

An operating process for a vehicle brake unit comprises a motor pump unit to convey pressure means or raise pressure having a main brake cylinder, a receptacle for the pump and wheel brake hoses/pipes and an electromagnetic valve operated by an electronic controller. Pump condition information is sent to the controller and used in brake control. An independent claim is also included for a brake unit for the above process.
