Electromagnetic brake comprising a parking brake device
DRIVE
August 11, 2004
The brake has a stopping device (100) with an elastic body e.g. spiral spring (104), and a selector (106) that is moved between two positions. The spring is mechanically uncoupled from a push rod and is maintained in a state elastically deformed to form a potential energy reserve in one position. The spring is mechanically coupled with the rod so that the rod exerts a pressure against a pile of discs under the action of the spring in another position.
