A vehicle heater sound absorber has a structure (26,40,42) of sound-absorbing material that surrounds a tubular inlet area (16,18,20) area by area. Tubular casing (24) surrounds the structure of sound-absorbing material. In the tubular inlet area and the tubular casing there are apertures (50) for each open to the structure of sound-absorbing material.
