Heating apparatus for a compartment to be heated, in particular a passenger compartment of a vehicle

Heating system (10) for arranging in the interior of a vehicle comprises a heating device with a heater arrangement (14), a heat-exchanger arrangement for heating air flowing through the heating device, and an air feed channel region (18) feeding air heated by the heat-exchanger arrangement to an outlet jet arrangement (20). The air feed channel region has a sound-absorbing arrangement (48) absorbing noise produced in the heating device. The heating system also has a support arrangement for attaching the heating device. Preferred Features: The sound-absorbing arrangement at least partly defines the air feed channel region.
