In a non-aqueous electrolyte primary cell comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a support salt, a phosphazene derivative and/or an isomer of a phosphazene derivative is included in the non-aqueous electrolyte, whereby the safety of the non-aqueous electrolyte primary cell is improved while maintaining cell characteristics thereof.
