Holder for a clamshell-type mobile phone

The present invention relates to a holder (1) for a clamshell-type mobile phone (10) with a first part (11) and a second part (12) connected to each other and foldable onto each other by a hinge means (14), said holder (1) comprising a holding structure having a left and a right sidewall (2a,2b) for releasably holding said first part (11) of the mobile phone (10) and a lower sidewall (3) with a connector (6) for a connection to a corresponding connector (15) of the mobile phone (10), whereby said left and right sidewall (2a,2b) respectively comprise a protruding element (5a,5b) protruding towards the inside of the holding structure and adapted to engage into respectively apertures (17) of the hinge means (14) of the mobile phone (10).
