DRIVE July 14, 2004
Source
A short-circuiting device (1a) has a first contact element (FCE) (3) forming a contact surface (16) with a running rail and a contact arm (CA) (2) linked to the FCE via a manifold articulated joint (MAJ) (4) to form a contact surface (7) with a live rail. Interlinked by a knee joint (10), two levers (8,17) on the MAJ each link to the FCE and the CA by first (9) and second (11) linkage joints.
