The case has a primary bottom plane supported by a cross-piece (2) and a primary rectangular cross section. A left side wall (3) and a right side wall (4) have a longitudinal section (31, 41) welded onto the corresponding ends (21, 22) of the cross piece. Each longitudinal section is sectioned by one of its surfaces of welding on superior faces and by the other surface of welding on the vertical faces of the cross piece. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a process for manufacturing a case (b) an industrial vehicle equipped with a case.
