Vehicle travelling control apparatus based on inter-vehicle data communication

The invention refers to an apparatus for controlling travelling of a first vehicle based on travelling data of the first vehicle and travelling data of a second vehicle obtained by inter-vehicle communication. The apparatus comprises evaluating means for evaluating a possibility of a collision between the vehicles based on said travelling data of the first and second vehicles, priority determining means for determining a priority of the first vehicle and the second vehicle when there is a possibility of a collision as well as controlling means for executing an avoidance operation of the first vehicle based on said priority.
