Frame elements for monopolar fuel cell stacks

The frame (220) comprises a number of recesses for receiving ribs (212) of plates arranged in a stack. A number of perforations are provided for passing through the ribs of the plates. On one side, the frame has an electrically conductive structure, supporting a monopolar connection of the plates in the stack. An Independent claim is included for a method of manufacturing a fuel cell stack.
