Vehicle door

The door for a motor vehicle has an internal volume divided by a lining (4) into humid and dry zones (2,3). The door has a lock mechanism mounted in the humid zone and a control in the dry zone connected by a cable (7) extending through the liner via a seal with a secondary seal formed by a sealed film glued onto the liner. The seal includes a cylindrical joint (10) on the cable (7) seated in a cut out (12) in the liner.
