Headlamps for vehicles

A cover (3) surrounds a light outlet for a lighting element (2). A ring-shaped light-conducting element (LCE) (4) fits on the front side of the cover and runs adjacent to the light outlet. A holder (7) for a source (6) of light fits on the rear side of the cover. The source of light and a light-sourcing surface (5) for the LCE are allocated to an opening in the cover.
