The bumper beam (10) has a connection rib (5) provided between a top wall (1) and a bottom wall (2) and connecting a collision-surface side lateral wall (3) and a vehicle-mounted-surface side lateral wall (4) which is thinner than the collision-surface side lateral wall. Both corners at opposite ends of the collision-surface side lateral wall are curved with a radius of curvature of 0.1-0.3 of a length of the collision-surface side lateral wall. Both corners at opposite ends of the vehicle-mounted-surface side lateral wall are curved with a radius of curvature of 0.6-2.0 of the thickness of the vehicle-mounted-surface side lateral wall.
