Process for the verification of the presence of a ID-transponder within a vehicle
DRIVE
April 21, 2004
The method involves an antenna inside the vehicle sending a presence interrogation signal when the engine is running and only after evaluating the information of at least one state sensor for a vehicle door (open/closed), a trunk lid, a window, a sliding roof or a folding roof. A visual and/or audible warning signal is generated if an identification sender is not present.
